Originally from Belgium, I've been living in Tokyo since 2016. I came to Japan on a working visa and later obtained permanent residency through the HSFP visa program.
Why I Built This
When I was preparing my own HSFP application, I found the official points calculation sheet confusing and tedious to work with. The PDF forms weren't interactive, and it was hard to understand which categories applied to my situation. I built this calculator to make the process easier for others going through the same journey.
